I know I am thread and post whoring right now about guns and emergency medical services, but this struck a nerve. I have stood outside of the ER (that I work at) doors at night in the ghetto and heard gunshots. I have worked the medic before on NYE and had to park in a fire station garage because of falling bullets. Never, have I EVER seen anything like this before. Detroit seems like a straight up warzone.

Those are definitely gun shots. I know someone who lives in Detroit and she said that if you call 911 to report shots fired they asked if you think there was return fire. If there wasn't any return fire, they don't even check it out.
