JESTERS -- reliable?

I just heard that Marker Jesters have developed a reputation for not being a reliable binding in that they break pretty often, yet I have never heard anything about it. I have a pair of griffons and jesters and have yet to have any problems yet. Let me know what you guys think of Jesters, thanks.

Never heard complaints on jesters. Far better bindings out there though.

Kinda off topic, last years kingpins are having a Recall in Europe right now.

I broke a pair of jesters within half a season. They Have quite a bit of plastic parts. I got the griffons next and haven’t had any problems with them. They are the next tier above the jesters

Nope, reverse that.

No

I've never had good luck with marker bindings. Broke a pair of Jester 18s and two pairs of griffons. My bet is chincy parts and lack of longevity with marker bindings. The closest thing to Marker (build wise) is the Attacks from Tyrolia since they're both plastic but I've never had a single problem in ~300 days on attacks. Never had any problems with Pivots, FKS, or STHs either though so they're my usual go to for new sticks.

I haven’t had a problem with the griffons but i am very excited to get away from markers and on to pivots. I only got them because they were the most affordable option at the time
