2. Search Jester and get:https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/402328/3. Search STH 16 and get:https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/395381/4. Compare5. Buy One6. If you like it smile or if they suck get pissed and break them cursing how you should have bought the other or sell/trade them to some nice fellow newschooler

a lot of people recommend to only set the din 2-3 lower than the max so 11/12 is not good i dunno whyif i were you i would maybe get the STH 14 for the higher DIN since the 16 would be pretty heavy compared to the 12 or even the 14 driver for the better toe piece

Yes. The STH 12s and 14s have a lot of plastic in them, whereas the STH 16 has a fair bit of metal in the body as well as an extra screw in the heel. The STH 16s are more durable because of that.

Most people that need super durable bindings are running higher DINs anyway.

On the main topic, the Jester has a Look-ish heel, and so probably has better retention, but the STH 16s have the manual wing and height adjustment up front which allows your bindings to work with worn boot soles, and my boots are always wearing down. I'm an STH user myself.
