so ive been looking at getting the sth 14 drivers or the marker jesters, ive heard that the salomons have a lot of problems with brakes but others say they are premium, i realy liked the griffons but what a just dont like the plastic gray parts and they just get hella beat up so thats why i was looking at jesters

what are your experences with them, which would you reccomend,

What ski are they going on? If it's not a pow ski, then neither, get the FKS140 or Look Pivot 14 (same binding) or even an old FKS155. Burly as hell and turntable heel, win win.
 
jesters are a really good binding, the older models had some problems with toe slop, but that should be fixed with the newer model....

the STH14 DRIVER (don't get regular sth, get the driver toe-piece) is also a baller binding, if you sack up and get the STH16 (same din as the jesters) you'll even get all metal :)

and the advantage of the sth drivers is that it releases in all directions while jesters don't
