Jerusalem Hills Cop II (9:20)

There is no skiing in this video, just me staking out Jerusalem after the recent and rare snow dump. Also, in celebration of this, I am proposing a video edits competition.

There are 4 skiing categories (with cat 4 probably being the most interesting to people here):

1) piste

key criteria: no poles, polecam, smiling, touching snow, minimal snow spray, speed, number of turns, short radius skis, entire run

- my video examples from 2008 (sl), 2012 (skiboard), 2013 (custom)

2) pow

same stylistics as piste, but also looking for minimal sluff, minimal step and minimal slarve turns

- I haven't seen this done (I doubt it's possible on current ski designs)

3) flat

carve launched 360 on flat

- I haven't seen this done, although I attempted it poorly (I doubt it's possible on current skis)

4) kicker

Christ flip (no poles, arms starting outward and then pulling in)

- I haven't seen this done on skis, only on snowboard by Daniel Moesl

Any and all serious competition entrants receive:

- thumb sized healing/luck/insight/protective crystal(s) sent from Jerusalem, and charged at a holy place

and

- white quartz crystal stone, emits far infrared waves, good for healing infections, breaks and sprains

If your entry is mindblowing to me, you will win a pair of ski goggles of your choosing and perhaps the opportunity to use the Heartcarve Heartslayers for a number of weeks.

Is this competition appealing to anyone?

I went looking for all the old heartcarve threads, for the funnies, and was bitterly disappointed that this is all that remains.

Why were they deleted?

Watch this video and tell me this guy isn't the most entertaining man alive, I mean, what are you on guy?!?!

Thanks Mr_Bump... the problem (or good thing) with me is that my seriousness is construed as funny. So I end up successfully taking the piss out of myself... but at my core all this heartcarve business is serious business.. and I've been pimpin' it now for a while now...

I'm lining up a Braveheart segment soon, when some more crystals arrive and I can take them into the old city with some skis and a custom t-shirt... that or a Michael Hutchence piece.. but without the skis.

3 of the original threads I requested get deleted but that was ages ago.

You appear to have a rare passion for your product, which is refreshing, and you certainly seem to enjoy skiing it too. For what it's worth, despite any ridicule you think you might have had here, what you're doing doesn't hurt anyone so ignore all the BS. Just enjoy developing your skis and sharing the journey with people. If your passion comes through with your presentation, thats all the marketing you need - in my humble opinion.

What I don't understand (and never did) - is whats with the random interludes of cinema in your edits haha?!

Yeah thanks.. and very good question and observation:

I've so far used Skyfall (with skiing), Back to the Future , Top Gun (need to reupload that), Beverly Hills Cop and 2001: A Space Odyssey (as part of mashup promotional vids.)

I did that for a lot of reasons including learning the software, and drawing on influences in my past, getting more familiar with those films and just attempting to make the videos as cool as possible.

I'm definitely keeping on going.. I sort of want to people to start copying my ski design(s) and see for themselves how/why/if it will work for them. I suppose if I lived in the USA it might be easier to get something started in terms of partnership. But really I was hoping Shaun White would give them a try, and he's been spotted here recently... and I think he might be converting as well to marry Bar... so who knows what the future holds..

There is a new video I just took here in Jerusalem at the new skatepark.

contents:

0 - 2:17 - talking about necklace, style and sporting approach

2:17 - 3:27 - general skatepark shots

3:27 - 6:02 - talking about head necklace

6:02 - 6:50 - me blading in bowl

I think the innovation in this video is actually wearing crystals while skiing/blading/whatever. Is anyone doing that?

In this video I'm on rollerblades with my crystal necklace and head-necklace. I am ordering some protective gear before I shoot another video but I have no idea when that will happen. This video is not about the tricks (you won't see any.)

BUT, I feel crystals generally are worth a look. They've helped me a lot, including for health and wellbeing - that is having them on desk, near bed and carrying in pocket.

Interestingly, Jamie Anderson (Gold, Sochi 2014, Womens Snowboard Slopestyle) has said she uses crystals in this interview - she used them to cope emotionally.

Aight, dude, I can't believe I never stumbled onto your threads man xD Not taking the piss, I just wanna give you a little tip regarding the negative feedback you're getting on here: Your whole thing with crystals/heart focus/weird skis is probably not gonna take off on this website simply cos it's definitely not into it's main population's culture (I'm assuming it is much more in Israel?). I gotta say I'm intrigued by your stones, is all of it for real though? Like you don't use psychedelics/weed...?(no offense though!) anyways you seem like a super positive person, and if you enjoy what you do then keep at it and share the love, don't mind the hate! I see you play the drums/percussion too? I've been a drummer for around 14 years now! Peace and keep stoning/quartzing and stuff :D
