Sounds like you've got a nice mash of ignorance and watching far to many above the influence commercials. People change, that's life. The fact that one person has altered your opinion on that many people is just stupid.

People who say things like "jam band trash" are just dumb. All the members of phish are very technically sound. The ability to jam songs completely different and mix songs together, without losing any member is amazing.

People that can't appreciate different genres of music. There is some shit that I don't like, but I still respect musical talent. And a phish show is one of the most fun times you can have. Just chilling and partying with new people all day then an awesome show, then after parties. Then you see some of the same people at the next show.

Lol, My goal isn't to write everything like a fucking english teacher. It was a complete though, so what if it isn't a complete sentence. You were the subject of the post. So basically I said, you are a person that doesn't appreciate.

100% agree. People need to learn that there is a difference between musical talent and sounding good.

For example, fusion jazz takes amazing skills, but it sounds like ass, and even the best players in the world admit that not many people like it. Do the musicians think that the public is "ignorant" and needs to "open their eyes?" Hell no, they just realize that not everybody likes the music, and just because it is really hard does not mean they should.

Phish sucks.

I can guarantee you that someone hates the music you listen to, everyone has a different opinion.
 
what about it? is it some significant date relating to jerry garcia or the jam scene or something? or are you just saying its something to do in the summer? because if it is the latter, then that is completley irrelevant to my post. my post is about how much jam bands suck, as well as how my cousin is lame because he listens to jam bands and doesnt ski anymore.
 
No fucking shit. What the hell does that have to do with my post? Did I in any way say that everyone has the same taste in music or that my musical preferences are superior?
 
There is no direct correlation with not skiing and listening to jam bands. I love jam bands and I ski as much as I possibly can, and when i am not ill go see a show. In the summer when I cant ski i go see live music which happen to be mostly electronic and jam bands.
 
it disturbs me that people DRIVE around with bumper stickers that say "hate BP" the reason that they atre driving. If they hate BP so much, why don't they ride a bike around.. hypocritical libs...

Why do stupid people breed. I go to shows and snowboard 4-6 times a week all winter. If I travel for a show I bring my snowboard shit. I went to snoe.down this year at killy. One of the nicest spring days for riding that saturday and plenty of good parties, cool people, and great music all weekend.

In the summer when the snows gone I go to shows all year. I'd say I've probably seen most of the bands you like but you probably listen to god awful music.
