Jerry/Gaper experiences

Getting on the lift, guy behind us gets on early. Dude's about 50. Pushes me off into the liftie hut. I eventually get on the lift with him, he says he's from Alabama. As well, he gets 90 days a year and skis "double diamonds". Falls when he gets off the lift.
 
Got on a chair at the last second and some dumb kid tried to follow me and got hit by the chair. a liftie gave me a talking to but I wasn't really in the wrong
 
Saw some people try to get onto a gondola with their skis on. I just went back to bed because I was so upset that living breathing humans could be so unintelligent.

Worked in the rental shop on my home mtn a few year ago, the bunny hill is only the width of a sidewalk away from the entrance into the shop and lost count of how many times kids would try to walk in accross the concrete and into the shop with their skis still on
 
Hitting a cattrack gap, see a family going along, let them all pass, literally say I'm dropping since they're all waiting for the last little kid who's pizza-ing his way down the cattrack. Send a nice air and stop it over some bumps, ski back down to the tram. See family dad coming on the ski bridge towards me. "You were going way too fast and you came that close to hitting my son who was in front of you"

As a general rule I just don't engage in these arguments and just say, "sorry didn't mean to do that, have a nice day"

Stopped before heading down the jump line and a guy looking like a gaper came up to me. My suspicion was confirmed after he double-eject-faceplanted on the knuckle when he said he was gonna try “some rotations”

The next run through I get snaked going to disaster a flat-down by a mom who was filming her toddler hike up the lip. I politely ask them to finish up as they aren’t really using the rail when some dude who I assume was the grandpa starts yelling at me telling me to “move the fuck along, you’ll live”. If ur gonna be a Jerry don’t be a dick about it

Family of snowboarders going through the park. They make it to the jumps, 20 and 35 feet respectively. All five of them slide right up onto them and stop, sitting down. They sat on the jump until one of my friends skied up and told them to move. Older dad got all pissy with him and told us to “get haircuts and jobs”. Ski patroller finally came down the trail and kicked them off.
 
Skiing Wachussett (small mountain in massachusetts) earlier this season, standing waiting to get on the next chair with my buddy. All of a sudden we hear a commotion and I look up and see Jerry, flailing around in a foot deep puddle on his back, skis still attached waving in the air. Naturally, I take my phone out and start filming while he rolls around trying to stand up and starts walking (skis still on) back to the chair with us, dripping wet.

He gets on the next chair with us and proceeds to lambaste me the entire ride up for filming without permission, being rude, uneducated, get a job etc. I informed him that I graduated from a nearby prestigious university and was just promoted at a well-known company downtown.

He finished by saying "well your skiing sucks and your ass is hanging out"

I thanked him for his kind words and skied off still laughing.
 
Last weekend I was riding the chair up with these three snowboarder girls. At the top there was a lady and her kid. They are like two feet infront of the unloading zone and the liftie didn't slow down the lift. I am on the far right so I try to move as far right as I can. One of the girls tries to follow me as I skate to push myself further away. In doing so I pushed the girls snowboard with my ski. The girl bumps into the lady and her kid and they all fell over. I felt bad so I said sorry before I left
 
Early season, one run open, I pop off a side hit probably ten feet from this jerry, I continue skiing down the run. 30 seconds later he comes out of nowhere and attempts to carve into me and wreck me. I pull a nose butter slit his throat with my tails. Laid his body next to the side hit and sent a backie over him next run.
