he has taken the NBA by storm with his skill, and asianness. currently has 9 of the Nicks 13 points against the lakers

He's just so easy to like. I mean he went to Harvard to begin with and now he pops up off the bench and gets his big chance and so he goes and produces more than solid numbers, a good attitude, entertaining play, and enough spark to turn the Knicks around. Not to mention that he restores the token Asian role in the NBA since Yao is gone. He's like the Asian Ricky Rubio plus a lot more buckets.

Ok, so he's had 3.5 (counting tonights game at the half) really good games. People are acting like he's the savior of basketball or something.

In the words of Kobe "is he getting triple doubles?"

I get it, it's been a pretty disappointing season for the Knicks. They mortgaged their team last year to get Melo and it hasn't worked out at all. But seriously, he's not breaking out for a triple double every night. The NBA sure does need a feel good story, and this one is right in its wheelhouse.

Imagine if Kevin Love played for the Knicks. You'd never hear the end of it about his stats, his dominating play..etc. Instead, he plays for the Timberwolves and barely gets to the All-Star game as a reserve. Yeesh, he's averaging 25ppg, and 14 boards a game!

Jeremy Lin does have talent, no doubt. He keeps it up for a month consistently, I'll change my mind on him. Right now though, he's the NBA flavor of the week (mostly because Blake Griffin hasn't dunked on anyone hard since Perkins).

I agree they can't possibly take Lin out if he keeps this up but baron deserves at least a chance to start along side him because of the statlines he's been capable of in the past. Or maybe they should just trade baron away.

Well now they've got plenty of reason to trade him. He will play this year and someone will pay for him cause although he's past his prime he's still a proven competitor. Really I don't care what they do as long as they keep Lin in a position where he's free to keep doing his thing.
