Jeremy Lin the Comeback Chin!

tim tebow season is over so the sports media needed someone else's dick to hop on, then came jeremy lin. espn is ridiculous.

has had the best start of anyone...ever. renergized NYC's NBA team, was doubted publicly, and then dropped 38 in Kobes face(i think he knows who Jlin is now lol), outduels the "best yourng PG in the game(rubio), and then hits the game winning 3 tonight while looking like he was born to do so.

Fuckin raptors dropped the ball in the fourth. Jose was shittin on lin all game, then they start takin mad fouls and can't hit a basket and lin gets a three to finish. Bullshit

Love the guy, but I hate all of the bullshit media stories that he has to deal with right now. And fuck floyd Mayweather

I went to Vegas the other weekend and sat down to watch some linsanity. Everyone was going nuts, shit was awesome. What an overnight linternational superstar!

hes definitely better than tebow is.....he plays well the whole, tebow just pulled shit out of his ass in the fourth quarter except for the pittsburgh game

wtf? you were the main guy sticking up for Tebow in his threads, now that "your boy" is being compared you're suddenly shitting all over him? I have to admit you're pretty good at pretending that you know what you're talking about, but under the surface is a guy who doesn't really know much and still wishes he was playing on a highschool team

altho californiagrow is a joke I dont have anything against lin but you can't say he scored 38 on Kobe just because Kobe was on the other team ,most of that was against fischer.

he's also setting turnover records along with scoring records

this is true- im a knicks fan but i havent bought into him yet- however now with stoudamire back and mello back sonn the three of them will be fucking nasty

this.

tim tebow is not a good qb. i can be a fuckin qb if all i gotta do is pass off the ball every down, that shit cant be hard. j lin is showing his worth in the numbers he puts up.

why the hell is this even being compared.

hahaha. no. people assume i watch the knicks only because of him, which isnt entirely false, its really interesting to see someone like me (asian-american, athletic, intelligent, parents from TAIWAN!!!!) play basketball, but i also like playing/watching for myself.i just play along with it as a joke though

I will believe in Jeremy Lin when he does this on a consistent basis. IF he plays like he did in the first half of last nights game more often, then he is just the average player getting hot. Give him 1/4 of the season to show me he is this player we are seeing and not just a hot streak, do this for an entire season and I would consider him an elite player, show me double doubles like last night.

Just because ESPN shows a 3 minute highlight video of him making everything doesn't mean he is the shit. He is good, but they are pushing him harder and harder in the press for more viewers. He had 8 turnovers, and shot under 50% last night. Not an elite performance if you ask me. He played well, and made a game winning shot, that's a good player in the NBA, not an MVP performance.

random china man who came off the bench to play because the knicks have been plagued by injury. after 6 games, averaging 24 pts with 49% from the field. all around good guy, harvard grad

ya. i dont know anybody who doesnt wish they were still playing on their high school sports team(i had a much better experience playing hs than i did in college)...im sorry you had a bad time in high school?

hahah we won the sate championship my sentior year at the meadowlands, sparta highschool in NJ if you want to google

I pick on you because you think playing in highschool makes you a god when EVERYONE played in highschool, you even made a thread bragging about yours hahah wtf. Youve also said the rest of us don't know shit about football bc "we never played at a high level" (highschool????) while also crediting Tebow for a win against a team they didn't even play. and argued that Andrew Luck deserves the Heisman just bc he plays in your back yard.

You word things like you're an expert but theres never any substance to back it up so its annoying

wow you really get worked up about someones (old, old)opinions over the internet. maybe its not the best place for you...you should take a break and then come back when you can take the interwebz less seriously.

oh and BTW, high school was not the highest level that i played football...or baseball.

hahah so weak, not even a denial on how wrong you consistently are. and unless you started on a d1 school in a major conference you never played on a high level and nobody will ever care about it as much as you do

Lin needs to tone down his turn overs, but he's the real deal. He was sick in college, sick in the d-league, he just never had a chance to show it on the main stage. The circumstances that gave him that opportunity in NY are somewhat comparable to Victor Cruz and the Giants. He came out of no where, was presented an opportunity and made the absolute best of his situation. But thats a bit of an apples to oranges comparison.

He scored more points in his first 5 games then anyone since the beginning of the NBA including Michael Jordan, the kid's got game, there's no way around it. ESPN is making a big deal about it because it is.... a really big deal.

2 of the 3...

the fact that you think high school cant be "high level" just means that your high school sucked. Unless its DBP, you are right, HS football isnt great in jersey.

maybe you should tone down your ignorance towards sports, and your bitterness towards those more knowledgeable than yourself.
