Jeffrey110 mount point

Ik the mount point for a 176 j110 is -3.75cm from true center but i’m wondering if I should mount it forward by an inch or two. i’m mainly gonna be using these for all mountain and xl kickers in park. would mounting recommended be best bet or go forward an inch or two. i won’t be hitting rails with these.

Just ask the dudes at ON3P. They will be best equipped to answer your question.

I would say probably split the difference between recommended and true center. Whatever you do be sure to put a piece of masking tape across the ski and draw a nice clean straight line across the ski with a little arrow and note indicating boot center. Make sure to measure well. If you do this there is a 90% chance the shop will actually mount them where you want them.

recommended will still be fine for switch and stuff right? cause most skis i’ve ridden have been basically true center or like -2 cm

Yeah rec is mint. I got them on 102 and daily them. Feel great on takeoffs as well.

Don’t hit rails on them but if I did I’d go +2 so like -2.5 from center for 191s.

However for what you’re doing rec is perfect

I have Jeffrey 108s from a few years ago. They must've updated em since, so grain of salt here. I dm'd Karl Fostvedt and he was kind enough to let me know that he skied them at -2cm from center. I ski them there and really like them. Not really yearning for more ski in front despite being a tall guy, but I've got the 191s. I actually like having a longer tail for stability on landings, and I feel like the near-center mount point make them really easy to throw around relative to their size and burliness. I don't even ski mine in the park tbh and just use them as an all-mountain daily driver.

Just throwing my 2 cents in here.

I have 3 sets of Jeff 110's so I feel qualified to answer. I rode my original 108's at true center only skijng park for a long time and they were fine. I moved to Utah and mounted them -2 and they were better. Then I got some more and mounted them at recommended and they are my favorite. Recommend will be effortless to float in soft snow and engage the ski properly during turns. I still carve switch on mine pleanty and it's not an issue. I would absolutely not mount them anywhere other than recommended. Only time I would go forward is for park skiing usage, but in that case you don't need a 110 haha

alr got it. will just mount recommended

Bet you’ll love it. Give ‘em a day or a few runs too, kinda didn’t like them at first but now I can’t ski anything else.

I've only owned 1 set of Jeff 110s but I believe this is the truth. Recommended is recommended for a reason.

definitely go recommended, I had mine at +2 all season and they felt too far forward. got them remounted to recommended a few days ago and now they feel perfect
