Jeffrey 100 vs prodigy 2.0

Sup guys. So I’m looking for a new daily driver for all mountain/park in the east coast (75%AM, 25%) park. I’m coming off of on3p kartel 96s ~2018 which are by far the best skis I’ve ever had, if I could just buy them again I would. Was wondering if the Jeffrey 100 would still fit the bill for this purpose or if going with something different (and cheaper) like the prodigy 2.0 would fit the bill as well.

Got the Jeffery 102 and copped a set of 100s for this season. I had the first set of the 98 kartels and loved them they were perfect. Noticed on the 102 jeff they floated really well but on icy days east coast and skiing park they slid around alot. Didn't help sliding rails but the 100s the new rocker profile was lowered to increase the effective edge so excited to get on them. I wouldn't stray from on3p. If you loved the 96 you'll love the 100 it's a small bump up but probably perfect daily driver.

Yeah probably just need to sack up and pay the ~$200 more for the on3ps lol

Yeah it's worth every penny I didn't believe it till I got on a set and haven't bought outside of on3p

didn't know they lowered the rocker profile, that's awesome. i much prefer my older kartel 108s for park skiing than my 2023 jeff 110s. had been thinking if they cut down the rocker it would make for a better park ski again.

Yea, The Jeffrey would be a good option as the underfoot is similar to what your riding and you know that they will last you a while if you take care of them properly. You could also go with the prodigy but durability could be hit or miss.

Never ridden the jeffrey 100s but I have had a pair of magnus 102s (which are a very similar platform) since christmas of 2018 and i am still skiing on them to this day. granted they are on their death bed but i could've taken better care of them and they have probably seen roughly 300 days of skiing and have performed great for everything ranging from urban rails to thigh deep powder. Only thing they suck on was ice but you can chalk that up to the factory detuned edges. If you buy a pair of factions you'll most likely blow through a pair in 40 days or so. Go with on3p, the durability really is unmatched and they might be expensive but you sure as hell get what you pay for. I have a pair of jeffrey 110s in the shop getting mounted right now and I can't wait to ride them this season and for several seasons to come.
