Jeff Anderson, Ride on

I had the fortune to meet Jeff at the burton factory sale about 2 years ago. Jim Rippey and Keir Dillon were also there but Jeff was easily the most approachable. He was one of the most chill, genuinly nice pros I have ever met. The oppisite of powers. we talked for like 2 hrs. about skating, music scenes and whatever else. He said that I was welcome to come stay with him at hood, an offer i had intended to take up, had I not lost his #. This should have been jeffs year. He was on the verge of blowing up, while keeping it real, and supporting the positive vibe of snowboarding. He had numerous insane vid parts and a recent interview in snowboarder in which he demonstrated just how dedicated to the sport he was. There are few riders with the drive and attitude that jeff had and he will be greatly missed. It is a huge loss to snowboarding but at least now Craig Kelly will have someone to ride with. Peace Jeff.

'dude, I'm wicked smart dude.'

Ride for Jeff, this Saturday at Mammoth Mountain. We will be celebrating the amazing life of Jeff all day. We will be having a room filled with photo's, a video camera for everyone to sit down and tell Jeff (aka El Jeffe) stories for Jeff's family. That is the most important thing to the family at this point is to hear the stories. Towards the end of the day we will take the last gondola up to the top of Mammoth and take one last ride down the mountain for Jeff with his family and friends.

As per flowers, the family would prefer that donations are made in Jeff's name to The Mammoth Lakes Foundation for the building of the new skate park in Mammoth. We want to contribute any and all donations to Jeff's passions, that being skateboarding, art, books.
