Just watched a crash segment from levis bmx team and started to wonder what the all round BEST jeans are. my parents sported the red tag back in the day and their companys still kicken? never wore levis but im starting to want to. Im sayin Lucky brand jeans are the shit from what ive seen so far but im still very much a jean noob.

Im always on the lookout top of the line for quality so someone please school me on the best jeans around.

Baggy> tight all day errrrry day ma fuka

The only jeans that are in my closet are nudie and dior. Some of nudie's fits are a little baggier (if you're into that).I'd suggest wearing something that actually fits you though.

those are two very different brands, what cuts do you own from both?
anyway, Levis are the tits. they have real cheap prices, plethora of fits, and are more durable than any other big box/mall brand. if you want to spend a little more but not over 150, don't buy anything but diesel. everything else is shit quality, diesels are actually made right. then you get into boutique brands, which get pricey quick.

lucky is the ill shit. most comfortable jeans i've ever owned. plus when you unzip the fly, on the inside it says "lucky you." reason enough to buy them right there.

Levis are okay, I think my hollister jeans (A store I'd thought I'd never step foot in, O and it was just as gay as I thought it would be) fit better than all my pairs of levis. I've had pretty much every levi, I dunno about that whole durability thing I mean unless your consistently dragging your jeans on the ground all jeans are pretty much the same qaulity wise, at least that's what I noticed. The only time I've ripped a pair of pants was when I sagged them and I'd rip the cuffs off of every levi I had. I don't know much more about brands minus volcom jeans blow dick, so do burton jeans.

I fucking love my volcom 2x4's I bought them for like 25 and have been one of my best investments. I sag the shit out of them and have washed them like twice in 9 months and they're still super nice and comfy.

levis are pretty good, but IMO the best clothing company overall including jeans is Zoo York. I have been wearing a pair of their jeans for like 2 years, they havent even worn out yet, a little slice or 2 at the very bottom. they fit the best out of any jeans ive worn, and came with an awesome stash pocket that none of my friends have ever noticed even when i tell them to look for one. oh and their outlet store is cheaper than china. got a reversible allover print hoodie for $10

gap makes a cut that i really like but gap jeans are shitty...i tend to wear the same jeans every day and they fall apart after a few months of that. if i bought some more expensive ones would they be noticeably more durable?

^ Yes. Depending on which expensive ones you buy. If you buy True Religion or Rock & Republic, you're basically getting absolute garbage with a giant logo on the ass. Pretty much might as well buy juicy couture sweatpants.

Iron Heart 634 would probably take the prize for durability.

My favourite denim is by Wings + Horns. It can be purchased at Farinelli's. They don't make the straight cut anymore but by all accounts the slim cut is pretty excellent.

For non-japanese denim (at a generally lower price) look into Crate, which is probably the best product at its pricepoint, now that APC has trended downhille.

In terms of good jeans there are about as many brands and cuts these days as there are ski models. So any question you'd ask about good jeans, substitute the word "skis", and see if it's the sort of thing you'd ask in gear talk here. Most of the advice given in this thread is like telling people they should go buy Rossignol Cuts. Although Levis 511 are pretty good value for the price.

all i wear is levis and vans, you can get quality jeans that fit if you buy those two brands. i shop at basicly only kohls because I'm not a rich mofo and get them for 30 a piece. lastly, i like levis because they have waist and length always written on the jeans so its so much easier to tell if the jeans will fit or not.

i basicly only wear lrg true fit, they get a little tighter around the knees, but ill be picking up a bunch of jiberish jeans to :)

oh word, for sure. anyone know if they will be tight or baggy? im hoping tightish but im bet they will be baggy.

whatever fits to be honest. i don't like super tight, and i don't like super baggy, so straight leg works for me

I love the 511 stretch. And I love how you can get them slim fitted and not like super skinny, and the stretch is so comfortable.

sears has levis for like $20 bucks. all the levi jeans ive owned have just a faded a bit but never really torn or looked ragged by the time i outgrew them.

I live about 30 minutes from a levi's outles store, which sounds sweet but the walls of jeans actually fuck with your head, everything starts to look the same lol. but everything is 34.99 so thats sick.

lol?

at the levis store in my local mall, everything is $25 or $29.99

or there is pacsun with the bullheads for $25,

idk its summer in the desert here in AZ, jeans are too hot, till winter, maybe that is why

Bummer. I feel ya. You've just wanted them all summer haha.

And to whoever said that there are Levi 511 jeans at Macy's, FUCK YOU. I got stoked because I have a $200 gift certificate there and I have nothing to use it on. I went there specifically today to get like 3 pairs of jeans and they have nothing but the lame, boxy, standard cuts. I was severely bummed out.

I have mostly all 511's and a few 514's. I also have some CCS corduroy pants which I like a lot. I rollerblade in 514's usually, and they take a beating when I fall, but they're still good.

34.99 *canadian*, which is better than the usual $50 or more. but thumbs up for your $25 or 29.99
