So my schools ski club is going on a trip to jay peak. Is it any good? Do they even have a park? I really haven’t heard much about it

Not much of a park but the crew is really cool and they do well for what they have. All around mountain quality is amazing tho, everglades and timbuktu are so much fun, check out the chutes too
 
They got rid of their main park last season unfortunately. But it is a sick mountain that gets good snow and has sweet freeride terrain.
 
Jay peak is pretty dope. I think its called the Jet. That run is the best groomer Ive ever skied.

Riding the tram is pretty cool. The ridge can be fun, but its bare.
 
dude jay peak is easily one of the best mtns in the east, prob the best. good terrain and they get more snow than anyone else on the east
 
Jay is great man. Essentially the further north you go the better and jay is as far north as it gets without hitting Canada. Best snow and terrain around and the vibe (at least 15 to 50 years ago) was way less pretentious.
 
There have some sick free ride terrain/ as close to out west terrain as it gets that’s inbounds besides whitefaces slides. Check out the STE Freeride tour videos and freeride world qualifier videos from there
 
It's amazing. Just stay off the goat run cuz it sucks icy Jerry dick. The jet is overrated. Op make sure you don't go too early in the season. Also if it's really icy after a dusting, I've noticed that the wind tends to blow the snow into pockets near/around JFK.
 
Skiing the park at jay is not core. If you go to jay your there to lab the bonnie (especially this one) and flyer to ski moguls and glades all day long. It just doesn't make sense to ski park here.

Yeah the trees and freeride stuff is definitely my priority. It would be cool to do some park laps while I’m there tho
