Can anyone gimme some info about it, there site doesnt have much

how much snow they get? will i be powder skiing?

park? good or not?

im heading up there for 3 days in January with university
 
jay peak is considered the best powder and glade skiing in the east. it's considered better then some west coast mountains. the park is okay, but trust me if you're going to jay in january you won't wanna ski park
 
Jay is cold as fark in January. Bring enough gear to cover every piece of exposed skin you have.

If you go to Jay for park, you've completely missed the point. It's like going to a strip club because you want good beer.
 
They might not even have a full park by january. really not a big priority for them untill they have there big air and battle for burlington. It will be cold as fuck though, or it will be raining. Its new England, who knows.

not a big park fan, but living in Ontario thats really all i get, finally get to actually ski !!!!

gladed runs and poweder, this is gonna be the best 3 days ive had since i lived in Whistler. (moved away when i was 13, argh)

anyone sick local runs i should hit up?

and what is the night life like, if im under 21 and no fake?
 
There is no nightlife you are in the "country" of Vermont. there are a couple little towns nearby but still your looking at a pizza place that has a couple beers on tap. Your best bet is to bring your own beers or make freinds with people staying around you.

As far as places to go, i would stay on the jet triple in the morning and stay skiers right. the flyer is good too if you stay skiers left. if you are taking the tram on a pow day hit up the face chutes.
 
You have to create your own night life at Jay. There are some +21 bars and fun stuff in Montgomery.

Put me on your friends list and PM me about a week before you head to Jay. ~10 of us are there every weekend. I could tell you local runs, but it's finding them that's difficult.
 
alright thanks for the info guys, hopefully i get good snow when im there.

SO MUCH FUN, i would suggest night sledding also, there's a few spots where there are roads next to some trails and you can just shuttle up and down with someones car and fucking haul ass on sleds, it is soooooo fun, and the skiing is amazing
