Jay Peak right now

Well Jay probably has the worst park I have ever hit. Tiny jumps with completely flat landings. Their rails are huge and awesome, but the lips are way below them and completely unsafe. Really disappointed. Hopefully they will improve it before Battle For Burlington, otherwise it will be garbage
 
we didnt. we actually competed in the ski the east comp under the tram. while we were waiting for our run, we skied the park, which was one of the worst ive skiedt this year. they cant call those mounds jumps. if they dont fix it at all before B4B, were gonna have 50 unhappy competitors.
 
and with that said, jay peak, will you please make a respectable park before battle for burlington this saturday? please and thank you bye
 
they probably won't which is annoying. BFB doesn't reary do anything to set up for the comps. remember the "signature feature"? i think three people hit it because it was such trash. I would hope that they would build a nice course for all the competitors to actually showcase some stuff, but i doubt it.

 
My friend is on the park crew. They wrote up a business plan and had a long meeting with Bill (owner) on what to do. A better park should be in the budget for next season.
 
yup i'm working with park crew a little for practicum....needless to say they lost some big bucks pushing the big air jump and not using it :/ management does see a rise in need for a park though so i expect it to get bigger in the next few years
 
Jesus, with all the Queebs that come to Jay for park, you think there would be a little incentive to at least build a decent one.

Saturday the park was fun, but it really did feel like a mini-park

...but also on that note, Jay has the best minipark I have ever ridden. SO FUN!
