Jay peak glades/BC

Can anyone shed some light on the "side country" and glade skiing areas up at Jay? My goal this year is to get up there and ski some of the more hardened terrain during/after a snow dump. I see on their site they really talk this terrain up, even going as far as to offer glade and powder clinics.

I was there about 8 years ago during not great conditions, so I really want to shred it when it's nice. Also, what kind of an effect has the expansion had on the place? Where a good/moderately priced places to stay? Thanks for any info.

I know they were cutting stuff over by the triple.

From what I hear, Big Jay is awesome if you want to take the time to hike it.

I have done zero research on Big Jay, so excuse my ignorance: what is the hike like? just bootpacking with the skis on a pack, or are we talking skins, etc.? What is the approximate time to hike vs. ski payoff?
