Jasper (Marmot Basin)

Not sure if this is the right regional, but whatever. How is the snow there this year. My family is heading there from the 26-31 and I'm hoping its not brutal. Stoked to head west, but I'm thinking its not going to be an epic pow trip.

Not as "steep and deep" as some of the other rocky mountain ski areas, but Marmot has a great lift system that you can lap fast. There are tons of fun pockets of good skiing all over. Eagles East has a few good chutes, add Charlie's Bowl/ T-Bar ridge is steep and usually has left over snow because everyone is too lazy to skate over there. Just search around and you'll find plenty of fun gaps and stuff in the trees. The park (if it is completed) usually has two smallish/mediumish jumps and a bunch of decently sized rails but in general the park is small. The new lifts are really comfy too haha
