So im probably applying to JMU and i visited there it seems pretty sweet and was overun by half naked females lying in the grass...anyone go there? how is it?
 
one of my best friends goes there. as far as i know, that place is where it's fuckin at. he smokes like every day and just has a really great time. it's a chill place.
 
girl/guy ratio is excellent, some good talent to choose from too. chill place to party as well. only problem is you're stuck skiing in VA, but from pics i've seen of mnut and wtg this year they have been doing better putting together a park.
 
haha oh man, ur in for a fuckin treat my friend. My 4 friends go there, and they are in the frat PIKE, im actually going down next weekend for springfest which is basically a shit show for 2 or 3 days. I went this past summer in august the week before classes started, i had an AMAZING time, u know that expression from wedding crashers where they say "Its like fishing with dynamite" it literally is like that, the girls just flock to u, and make it tooo easy. If u have a fake be careful which liq stores u go to. Sheetz, its like wawa on steroids, and they alc and any id would work there. Slip n slides when its hot out, girls just getting crazy, i had a blast there. I would def go there if ur looking to get a degree in partying, but the school is actually pretty challenging from what my friends have told me. My friends are finance and accounting majors.

my best friend goes there. she's in a sorority and loves it. also yeah, very high girl ratio so if you're a single guy i guess thats nice haha
 
lol jmu had some bigass block party today and the cops went riot mode on it shooting teargas all over the place. some pretty sweet youtube vids out right now
 
Yeah i live at massanutten, and the skiing is pretty bad - the park is tiny for the most part (you can check my pics to see for yourself), but a bunch of chill guys ride there. And yeah my brother tells me that JMU is supppppper fun to party at, so if that's what you're looking for then JMU is a good place to be.
 
haha, i just got bavk from my 5 hour drive back home from JMU. The block party was INSANE!!! tear gas, fires, mace, bottles being thrown everywhere, riot police, there are no words to describe the outrageous time i had down there.

i was telling everyone i was from london but how did u know that, and now i really regret it because my voice is so fucked from speaking in a british accent the entire weekend, but it paid off for the most part

anyway the OP got me thinking so I checked my facebook and here are 3 pretty cute girls from my high school who all apparently ended up dating slobs. So if these guys can get liad there Im sure you can too. the first guy is in a suit but still a slob in other pics

i go to VT it's decently close to us and a bunch of my buddies went for springfest; i've been there before. it's fun as fuck, tons of parties and slutty girls.

i have no facts to back this up but i've been told from people that visit there all the time/have friends there and are from the area that the STD rate is ridiculous. so be careful.
 
what a sad, depressing thread. I went to JMU for six years (undergrad in ISAT and masters in teaching) and was stoked to see a thread about my school. And pathetically, the only thing that is talked about in here is how to party? If the main highlight of your life is smoking, getting wasted and treating girls like trash... oh well.

JMU actually has some good programs and the population is overall quite friendly. I hope you get a slightly better vision for your life than hot girls.
