Jail Breaking an Iphone....

I have an iPod touch, and it was the best thing I did. I can't believe that I didn't do it sooner.

I would be best, though to leave this type of decision out of Newschoolers. Here's a forum I use regularly. They will be ablt to tell you anything you need to know about unlocking/jailbreaking.

i did it to my ipod touch but then i had to reformat it because i realized the way i did it took up 5GB of memeory on my ipod and i hardly had any room left
 
i wouldn't do it on my iphone, i know someone who did it and it fucked his phone real bad, and when you jailbreak, the garantee is down
 
I never did it but then one day this black kid told me i should do it because he did it and how hard could it be right? so I did it, worth it and easy as hell
 
I have alot of horror stories from my jailbreaking time.. but thats mainly because I was one of the people that originally helped create Ziphone for mac (claim, bring on the hate, nerd)! but yeah, with all these auto jailbreaking apps there really shouldn't be any problem :)

idk much about iPhone jailbreaking, but I mod PSPs (with the internet programs written by people by you) and I regard you guys as gods. I am bowing down in front of my screen right now.

Go for the jailbreak, consumer electronics are so much more fun when modded.
 
i did it to my ipod and plan on doing it on an iphone im buying, but to all u ipod touch jailbreakers its not tht big of deal to have to wait a weekend or until the next time ur home if the shit hits the fan and it does. but waiting a weekend for my phone would suck.
 
Could somebody who knows a lot about this please explain to me, or provide a link to a legitimate, good way to jailbreak my iPhone? I don't want to follow some crappy instructions on youtube and fuck it up.

i would recommend modmyi.com and check the iphone news its legit i used it to jailbreak my 1st gen touch back in the day i think its called YellowSn0w for the iphone 3g.
 
I did it and my phone totally crashed its only good for a touch, all the people I know that have done it their phones have crashed and they cant restore it or anything

 
my buddy jailbroke his and it works great, plus theres a .exe commad that enables the phone to be restored
