I'm hoping to land a job in Jackson later this fall and am curious how hard it is to get affordable housing in the area. Any suggestions would be great!
 
Finding housing is pretty hard if you dont know anyone or already live out there. Finding 'affordable' housing is even harder. Best of luck. Use Jackson Hole Radio to look for places. Its the craigslist for the JH valley.
 
Affordable and Jackson? Lol, good luck. Your best bet is to go over into Idaho if you want cheaper housing.

And in regards to difficulty, finding housing is on the harder side of things. Start looking now.
 
JH resort offers employee housing I hear these days. Get a job with them and get some housing hopefully. Otherwise live in a van and buy a warm sleeping bag. Like all major resort towns all housing is bought up by condo companies and rich people.

I believe its first come first serve and highly sought after. Don't bank on getting a place there.
