I heard that Jackson Hole got rid of their tram. Is that true. If so, are they gonna make a new one or what? Also, hows their big mountain?
 
yes, yes, and check the site. There's gonna be a temporary lift so you can still access the terrain at the top.
 
yes last year was the last tram year, and as of the end of last season they didnt have any intention of building a new one.

and yes, it's pretty good for big mtn riding...

I go to jackson every year and the crazy mountain never dissapoints. they are putting a new chair that goes to the spot of the tram from the top of the thunder quad.

the new tram goes in 2008. i cant wait to go back in january, best big mountain skiing ever.
 
You know almost none of that was filmed in-bounds, right?

And for the thread creator, the new tram will be up and running in 2008. Just bring your big sticks and your man panties and get ready to be rocked.
 
i know but it still gets your pumped up and wanna go there.. i know that its still good without watching anomaly haha
 
At first they were not going to rebulid the tream, but they got the money to do it and they are building a new tram. it's going to take about 2 year.
 
sublet quad, but yeah they put in a new 2 seater, not really worth it unless you wanna hike out to cody bowl/peak, but yeah amazing mt. great times have been had there, some of the sickest inbounds skiing ever
