Questionable clientele

This attorney has, among his clients, a noted slumlord. That is not just my opinion, but also the opinion of five reviewers at this very same web site. (See "Varnes Investment Properties" at this site, Insider Pages, for more complete information.) I have suffered enormously as the result of this attorney's assisting and abetting the illegal activities of this particular client. In my face-to-face dealings with Jack Borland, I found him to be a gentleman. So I don't understand why he has this client among those he represents. Does he need the money, so badly, he values it more than his reputation? Maybe he doesn't know all that they do. Nonetheless, it makes me question his commitment to honoring the spirit of the law, not just the letter of it. I know one person who is considering filing a complaint with the Washington State Bar Association about this attorney, because of his affiliation with the client mentioned.
