J-skis?

I was really close to buying a pair of j-skis whip its (basically just waiting to see what the next graphic would be). They seamed like a really cool brand and I had seen nothing but positive reviews until the last few days I've seen a few threads such ashttps://www.newschoolers.com/forum/thread/842737/Which-ski-company-is-best-for-me- where people where saying that jskis are bad. Am I making a mistake buy buying them? if so what else should I consider?
 
J definitely has one of the better warranties out there, every time I've heard pf there shit breaking when it shouldn't have the dude has sent the person a new pair
 
I switched from atomics to j skis inspired and personally i fucking love em, i mostly do jumps and they're definitely a change but nothing uncomfortable. they're really fun to play around with and realllllllllllly fucking buttery.
 
I own the cats in space and the Lightning whipits. They are really light. They are also pretty fun to butter around on because they have a really soft flex. I haven't had any problems with them, but I've heard people talking about durability being bad. I guess only time will tell.

The warranty has a pretty good reputation, so you should just buy jskis, or consider ON3P (known to be amazing quality)

Thanks for the reply! are you able to tell me when the next whip it design will come out?
 
I own a pair of newschoolers and I've been able to do everything with them. Drop cliffs, do rails, hit the big jumps, do mad butters the ski does it all.

Also it's pretty durable, I don't baby my skis and the only serious damage after 2 seasons is the edge on one tail is coming off but that's probably from when I did some rock taps.. Should be a easy fix hopefully.

Yeah, but how does it work when i order them from a major ski shop?

'Cause i can't get them from your site, since i live in europe.
 
I am on some J's right now and I find them sturdy and have held up more than most the skis I have skied. Customer service is grade A too. Graphics are always stellar

However, they are not as playful as I would like. Slightly too stiff for my taste. Unfortunately, I will not be buying a pair in the future but it is not because the skis are not good. I would just like something more playful.

If you are looking for a pretty light, sturdy, and on the stiffer side then no doubt you should buy J.

I would also add they are really good on jumps besides what others have said

what ones do you have? The whip its are not even close to stiff.
 
A friend of mine has J skis and they seemed to hold up pretty good even though he was grass skiing on the last day. They shred in the park, a bit stiffer than expected but still awesome. I'd get them if I were you.

I would have to disagree with you. However the skis I have had previously were very noodle-ly.

The whip its are noodles. What ski did you have previously?
 
I would advise against it, after one season of normal park use he edges ended up poking through the base and the skis were all but useless after that
