J skis whipits vs Faction 1.0s

I'm looking for a light ski with the least amount of swing weight possible. Also I would like my ski to have a lot of pop and be somewhat buttery. Can anyone vouch for either of these skis. Also im only 5'3 so would 164 in either ski be a good size?

I can tell you you want a 164. You'll be able to grow into these but they aren't too long. I know the Factions are light, and assume they are lighter than the Jskis whip its but the Whip its are probably a bit more durable. The whip its will be more buttery.

Thanks. Would it be a better idea to buy a smaller ski so I don't have to grow into it?

Noooo. Depending on how fast you are growing, it could be very likely you'll grow out of these before you break them completely. Definitely go for the 164s. It just takes a few days to adjust to a longer length. You will see more stability on a longer ski. GO FOR THE 164.

164 would be a good size, the 1.0s are really light with the balsa core but have had durability issues but the new models that will come out this year will be a poplar and ash core which is slightly heavier but more durable. I don't know much about the whipits but 1.0s are a great ski especially if your not really hard on your skis
