J skis technology update

Sitting bored in class and was wondering something which you guys can hopefully help me with.

If you look at most skis, the same model will get tweaks and updates year on year to ensure the ski is as good as it can be given price, available materials etc.

With j skis, models like the whipit seem to have been around for a while but the only update seems to be graphically. Whilst jlev obviously drops new models, do established ones like the whipit get updated technologically year on year at all?

skis tend to change only when something with the original isnt working. park skis tend to carryover year after year with just graphics because there isnt much more to do with them. changes could be edge thickness, carbon stringers, rocker/camber profile, base material, etc... but when you do those things, it increases the cost and youve pretty much created a new ski. Thats why he went from one ski being offered when jskis started to having a full fleet now.

the rapid graphics changes is something Jay is bringing to the ski market to add variety without having to really change how the skis are produced. i like the on demand model. then he isnt sitting on a stack of skis that didnt sell because of graphics.
