J Skis is the realest

Just wanna give a quick shoutout to J Skis and share with newschoolers how down to earth this company is. First of all, every now and then when you go on their website there will be a live chat of J skis reps, such as steve mothafuckin stepp, who answer all the questions you want... some im sure are odd haha. A few days ago I had a pair of J skis checked out but didn't go through with the transaction due to the fact that I didnt know how long they would take to ship. About an hour later i go an email from J Lev say that he saw I didnt complete the transaction and asked if I had any questions. I asked him my question and got an immediate response back.I thought this was pretty sweet seeing that the man himself took time out of his day to make sure a customer knew what was up and were satisfied. No tryin to fan boy here, just super stoked to see a company interact this way...hahaha

I had a similar one with virtika, I was about to place an order got to the paypal page and closed because I forgot to add something and I was in a rush anyways so I went on with my day. That night I got an email saying hey we saw you didn't complete an order did you mean to? Do you have any questions? Meanwhile I had already went through and placed the order I wanted so I told them thanks and etc.

Glad to see great customer service like this!

Haven't had the pleasure to ride a pair, but what I've seen from them I give a big fuck yes, a yes please, and another fuck yes

Really awesome company!!!! Only problem I had was the really weird shipping service. It was from a company I've never heard of (purolator) and the tracking package service never showed an expected arrive date. It just said the times and days of arrival/departure, no cities or anything. It looked like this

Sep. 5 3:30. Departure

Sep 5 800. Arrival

Sep 7 1100. Departure

Sep 8 445. Arrival

And so on...

I was afraid my skis wudnt come because purolator was such a sketch company. Am I wrong?

Purolator isn't a sketchy company. It's a canadian company up there with fedex and ups. The skis are made in Quebec so that's most likely why they are shipped with a canadian company.

Ramp does the same thing. It could be automated.

it is :-) it's a standard message you send the customers when they don't go all the way through the transaction:-) sorry guys..

I still like the thread where the kid guessed the promo code and got a free order or something....then JLev emailed him and called him out

either way, both are great stories

d'structure's website also does this if you don't complete an order. Pretty good automated system to have in place.
