now that the j ski all plays are a bit older just wondering some feed back on the skis from owners of them.

what were some of the good qualities about them? what are some of the things you did not like?

how do you like them for cliffs, jumps, park jumps, rails, spinning etc.

would like to hear the bad as well as the good! also be good to make a nice thread about these guys!

The allplay is my favorite ski that I have owned. 8 days on them so far and they are very fun and versatile.

Pros

98 underfoot so they are fun in the park and all-mountain

It is a fairly stiff ski unlike the whipits (so I’ve heard)

178 cm was the perfect size for me, mounted them center and they ski great

Early rise in the tip and tail and camber underfoot makes for a stable ride at high speeds

Light weight mounted with Jester 16s

Cons

It is a full sidewall ski so your top sheets will chip pretty quickly. Overall they seem very durable but you will have noticeable cosmetic damage to your top sheets within days of skiing park. Not a big deal to me

Mind if I ask how tall/ your size for the 178 length of ski?

5'9" I used to ski a 176 AR7 and I do notice the allplay doesn't feel as short as the ar7 when adventuring out of the park

I have the 170s and I mainly only take them to the park. They have great performance, don't feel too heavy, but the topsheets will chip a lot like said above. This doesn't affect performance, just cosmetics.

I'm 6'2 170lbs and I rode the all-plays last year. I had them in 178 CM and they were definitely too short. I didn't realize it for awhile, but I was unstable on them.

The skis measure about 3cm shorter than listed because they are measured pre-press. So I would get them longer than you think you need.

They are pretty flexy, very fun for butters and I liked them on jumps. Great ski overall.
