I was watching some tv, and I made the mistake of surfing into the mtv zone. After seeing about 5 minutes of mtv hits, I started wondering... when did the public start accepting such shitty music? the songs that are popular now are so terrible its mind numbing. I cant even listen to the radio for the most part, because most of the stuff played is crap, except for stations that play rock, classics, ect. Overall, I gotta say that this bubblegum horseshit hip hop pop crap is ridiculous..

dont worry all those songs will die off eventually and will only be remembered as jokes just like the backstreet boys and spice girls and all that garbage.
 
yeah, but the sad thing is, record labels always find new shitty but easily marketable bands to promote and force the retarded general populous to like. big name record labels are so different now, the no longer look for talent first and marketability second. Now they look at looks and marketability and don't give a fuck about talent. That's what autotuning is for.
 

we know most pop music is shitty, it will always be here in an ever-changing shitball of glamour, 4/4 time and popularity. Just do your own thing and laugh at the sheep enjoying what's been so carefully constructed to squeeze their spare cash back into said shitball. Better music is out there, enjoy it! But if you don't let the bad music bother you, you can just laugh it off and enjoy the rest of the world. Not every song MTV plays is terrible...
music culture is such a funny phenomenon, we skiers have our popular music, rednecks have their popular country music, and goths have what's cool for them...etc. Each culture has what's popular, that can easily be made fun of by another group of people... just enjoy what you've got.

yeah pop music is shit and has been for a while as already said. Just be grateful your not included in the population that feels that they have to fit in to be happy
 
I agree. To each his own. But I also agree that the music industry no longer seeks real natural talent anymore, it's all the digital magic the record company inputs. Which is probably why so many singers suck live.
