Itunes what the fuck?

alright, so today, trying to just listen to some fucking music, i boot up my computer and open up itunes.

BOOM between 4 and 5 duplicates of EVERY FUCKING SONG.

besides going through and clicking all of them and making them go away (14,394 songs worth of fucking highlighting and deleting)

is there any way to fix this? what the fuck caused this and how can i make it stop?

 
Itunes is so expensive now. And they started charging that tax a while back so songs stopped being $.99 and became $1.00, which made me angry because I have like $.35 build up from that extra leftover cent from each song i bought that I now cannot use.
 
that happened to me once when i downloaded a mixtape and it resynced my whole library 3x - same thing happend to this girl i know , she came to my like wtf. there's really no way to fix it i don't think. it hasn't ever happened again to me since.

I have another itunes question:

I bought referesh off itunes about 4 months ago for 8 $ it was agreat movie and now i just lost it.. i didnt change anything but when i want to watch it they say i have to pay 8$ again..wtf?
 
look in preferences and find something like copy to itunes library and uncheck it. I think that copies a song you add into itunes to another folder, but it may also create duplicates within your library.
