Itunes party shuffle question

is there any way i can listen to songs from my ipod on my computer using the party shuffle feature. my library recently got deleted and i was foolish in not backing it up. so now i just have like 700 songs in my library but 3k in my ipod. i'd like to be able to listen to my songs on my ipod with a shuffle instead of them just playing in order, but the party shuffle seems to only play songs from my library. any help?

get tune transfer or something and get the music back on your comp

yeah but i just don't need my music back on my computer.

but everyone is sayin this is my only opportunity for what i want?

either use a program such as sharepod to put the songs back on the computer or when your ipod is connected open itunes click the arrow by your ipod and open the music that way you can listen to all the music off of your ipod
