Itunes help please

i need help i just got itunes its not 7 i cant find out how to rip music onto it from cds can anyone help me?

Put the cd in and click on the little icon on the top left I believe.

well it turns out my version for somereason didnt come with the cd import drivers so im getting the disc from my friend and hes letting me borrow his ipod too so i can get his music
