Itunes halp

downloaded a movie as an itunes file, open it, itunes opens but nothing more happens, tried a few other programs but those no worky either, anyone care to lend a hand?
 
What's the file type? .wmv, .mepg4, .avi, .mkv, etc.... different file types may require you to download a codec to play them.
 
Try downloading DIVX player or VLC media player, legit programs and should play your video fine, AVI's don't usually work with iTunes.
