Itunes/computer/iPod problems

I really need your help. So I have a 40 gig 4g ipod, and im trying to get a shuffle to work on my computer too. It works alright, i put some songs on it through itunes and stuff, go to listen to it the next morning, and it doesnt work, so after a bunch of crap I called apple, downloaded the updater, tried it, didnt work, ended up uninstalling itunes and the updater in an attempt to fix it, (it wasnt reading my 40 gig either) and my computer crashes, and now it doesnt read either of my cd drives. When I go into the device manager, they have little yellow circles with exclamation points in them. Does anyone know how to fix my drives at least?

Hmmm. I don't know how that could fuck up your drives. The only thing I can think of is reformatting your c drive and starting over. You should try re-installing your drivers for each drive though.. that should solve it.

As for the iPod not working... I had the same problem, and I just took it to an Apple store and they replaced it. Definitly go check out an apple store, they should be able to tell you what's up.
