ITunes 11 - DON'T DOWNLOAD - It sucks

I just downloaded the new iTunes and it blows.

Anyone knows how I can get the old Itunes 10 back? I would restore it through time machine, but that looks like a lot of work....
 
Don't see whats so bad about it. The layout change is kind of weird, buts pretty much the same.
 
I like it better actually, you just have to click an album cover once and then the song list pops out under it, which is pretty helpful imo.
 
if you have a windows, i guess you can just find someone else who had to download itunes and go through their downloads folder looking for the itunes installer .exe or whatever. if you have a mac, i dont know what to do, as an itunes 10 dmg would be pretty hard to find since it comes preloaded on all macs.

honestly i dont see anything wrong with it. sure its a little funky, but it works. nothing was really taken away
 
I just hate the new search. Like I used to be able to type in an artist if I wanted to play a bunch of them, and have it show all the songs by that artist. Now If I try that it just brings a shit ton of stuff in the drop down thing, none of which I'm looking for. And I liked how the search would narro it's results as you typed.
 
Oh that sucks. Haven't tried the search yet with the new one. I do like the appearance and album layout of the new one though

use the bar thing on the type, click artists... it shows all your artists and their songs
 
Did anyone else have so much trouble having their Iphone connect to Itunes 10? The damn thing never showed up and i always checked my drivers which were functioning properly. Switched cords several times. Only thing that worked was reinstalling Itunes every time i wanted to sync.
 
No problems ever with itunes 10, iphone 4s, and my mbp.

Thanks for the heads up about 11, I will continue to ignore the update.
 
haha, i think im on like version 8, it always asks if i wanna upgrade and im always way to busy doing nothing to upgrade it.
 
I just figured out that if you type into the search bar then hit enter it acts like the old search. And it was an accident too, because I suck at typing and accidentally hit enter. So problem solved.

anyone else view their library though albums opposed to in a iist format? the new itunes, all the album artwork is so fucking tiny I hate it.
 
I wasn't happy with the new changes and still struggling for basic stuff. Basically, the one thing I don't like is the new searching system.
 
I quite like it although i'm sort of bummed they took away iTunes Dj( unless i just haven't found it yet?)
 
It sucks.

The search takes forever.

When you're creating a playlist you can't have a different playlist open and the new playlist open at the same time which is awful.
 
Ok so ive been trying so hard to use the new itunes and i cannot figure out how to drag a song from a playlist (i.e. recently added) and add it to my device. When I am in the regular song list I drag and the sidebar appears but in playlists it doenst happen.

i fucking hate the new itunes, i used to do the exact same thing, now the search function sucks, and i have to get used to a whole new interface.

Now i'm usually in the 'playlist' mode, its closes to the old one.
