I live nearby allentown PA, pennsburg/quakertown specifically im bored as hell. Any NSers doing something fun in the area?
 
I go mountain biking up at lehigh all the time if you are into that stuff. Also, there is the trestle to jump off near the iron pigs stadium and peace rock, which has a rope swing and a fun cliff. The only problem with peace rock is that last week somebody went into the river without knowing how to swim and drowned, so you might get in trouble for swimming there. You should also check out park 1260, which is near blue mountain, for some sick summer rail jams.
 
i live in mt pocono, and all i do is skate, longboard at hickory run or big pocono state park, cliffjump, and hit my backyard setup. not to much to do around here at nights other than chill with people and such. pretty borin place. If you need any good skate/cliffs pm me
 
my 3 good friends saw the guy die. so glad i decied not to go swimming that day.

go ride the CBK turf ( idk if its open yet), CBK ropes course, go to

lake nockamixon there a 15ish foot rock there, go ride a mtb

bear creek has some pretty legit trails as well as lehigh U, also check

out white water rafting/tubing.
 
we should get a disc golf day goin at bear soon. they just finished the 1st course not too long ago. haven't played it yet but i've seen a pretty good amount of people out lately.
 
quakertown is mad boring... i thought i was the only skier. i heard the CBK turf is closed and theyre replacing it with a volleyball court because they have noone to operate it now.
 
im a lifeguard at camelbeach and there just moving it to the cbk ropes course area. kinda makes more sense to have it there anyway. i hear it should be ready soon to
 
Yo Tom, I'd be down for a disc golf day for sure on the new course. Hell I live right down the road.

And to the OP, yo man I grew up in pennsburg and now live right by bear creek. If ya skate I'd be willing to hit up the ymca skate park in east greenville any day. If ya mtn. bike we ride the green lane reservoir trails at least once a week. If ya fish I would be willing to show ya a spot or two around the area for trout, or we night fish and drink pretty regularly too. If ya wanna try kayaking I've got extras and we could float the perky one evening or something. Hell if I can find some turf we could probably sessions the couple shitty pvc rails I got behind my house right now.

No reason to be bored in the summer man, hit me with a PM if you're interested in any of those shenanigans.

But Tom I'd totally be down for a disc golf evening. Do they frown upon adult beverages on the course? haha that first hole looks like a bitch though seriously.
