It's snowing again

only a little bit so far here in vail, but all the news/weather channels are saying a foot or more in some places along the NW border
fuuuuuuuck it needs to stay cold so it can start piling up

word, i just checked abays webcam and there was like an inch or two of fresh everywhere and the guns were blasting, i still can't really see lovelands webcams yet though

i dont think they have any cams, im pretty sure they just post pictures whenever they feel like it...feel free to prove me wrong, but ive been to their site like 20 times in the past week or so and i havent found any
but i drove by there yesterday and theyre still holding a fair amount of patchy snow from that storm last week...it's not total coverage by any means, but it's a good sign that it's sortve managing to stick...i couldnt really tell how much progress they'd made on blowing though, it didnt look like very much, i knew they should have waited another week or so to let the ground freeze
but if we keep getting little intermittent storms like this for another week or so i see no reason why a-bay and loveland wont be open sooner rather than later, especially if we stop getting highs in the mid-60's and low 70's pretty soon

i checked the weather report on weather.com for frisco and its 40's with a 50 or two put in there for the next week for the highs, so most likely, the nighttime lows will be cold enough to make a little snow and for the current snow to stay
