... and I'm chained to my desk.

protip: if there was ever a weekend to splurge to chase a storm here, this would be the one to do it...

Stick your finger down your throat and puke everywhere. You'll get sent home so you can ski endless pow

If only there was a thread titled "it's snowing in _____"! That would be awesome

Oh wait there is

I know I'm in Denver at work and I can see the storm hovering over the Rockies...looks big and dark. It's already snowed over a foot in most places. And I can't get work off tomorrow, such a tragedy :(

Actual on snow update: Breck was fucking bottomless today, some of the lightest snow I've ever skied and about a foot and a half of it. Stick to e chair and south face of peak 10...bring a snorkel.

lol why didnt you go somewhere with good terrain like abay or vail?

also, 18" of snow is not snorkel worthy

I just think its stupid EVERYONE tries to claim "omg grab your snorkel" and its a overused term IMO but thats just me, im a sour pus.

Ego: a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance.

synonyms: self-esteem, self-importance, self-worth, self-respect, sense of personal identity

other words that could work: attitude, entitlement, pride, et. Al.

See you on the hill :). from your friendly neighborhood Denver resident.

I have to work Saturday and probably Sunday because of the damn superbowl. The only people who got it off are the 2 people that are actually going to NJ for the game.

My homepage is the snow report too, it is just taunting me.

I was there too and it was fucking beautiful, best powder of this season. South face of falcon was unbelievable.

what about tomorrow? if you have school, saying "fuck that" shouldn't be too hard. it's gonna be so good at Vail tomorrow. The snowstake is insane right now! and this is on top of the 5 inches reported at 5am (which all feel from 3am-5am).

welp, it's pretty obvious someone hate's their life enough to put others down about a freakin pow day....

your legs prob couldn't even handle a pow lap top to bottom anyway, makes sense why you're so mad. get over yourself ehv

I was going to make a joke about you just being mad cuz you float so easily and never need a snorkel but someone else already degraded you (took it a little too far too).

On a serious note, I'm totally with you on hating it when people way overhype conditions. I have a friend who religiously adds at least 4 to 5 inches to every snowfall. And for the east coast that's a pretty big deal. Used to be annoying but we all just make fun of him for it now.

I must say, a snorkel would have been helpful at Vail today. Though more helpful would have been a gun to skip the chair 5 line. Front side all day after 845 oh yeah.

if youre saying breck doesnt have good terrain then you dont know what youre talking about. the deepest pictures ive seen so far have been from breck

Your statement here is invalid, deep snow =/= good terrain. Breck and Keystone by far have the worst terrain in summit county.

there is definitely some good terrain at both of them. i was hiking lake chutes a lot of the day and that was pretty good terrain

Breck has some of the best terrain in summit if you know where it is actually. E-chair, lake chutes, windows, needles eye, and the new 6 chair hiking are all steeper than everything at vail, keystone, and beaver creek with the exception of some small areas like stone creek and a couple vail runs.
