Cortina - the hidden gem of the Hakuba area. Unlike typical Japanese resorts that clear cut runs out, pick areas that are relatively flat and parts that have valleys leading no-where, Cortina offers some relatively steep (35) slopes, fun terrain, off-piste runs that lead easily back to the main runs, epic pow (thanks Japan), and off-lift backcountry that's mad easy access and fun.
