I got an iPhone 4 for chistmas, i was so stoked, thanks mom. A few weeks later i go into work at 4am and drop it in the snow without noticing before i plow. I then get into the truck and plow the whole yard, unknowingly plowing my brand new iphone into a snowbank the size of your house. By the end of the day i had figured out what i had done, and a week or so later replaced it with a 3gs. I found the 4 on monday since alot of snow melted, but didnt have much hope. I put it in a bag of rice and sorta forgot about it. Today i took it out and plugged it in. after a dfu reset, IT WORKS!

last year i got a nano for christmas, a few days later i had lost it. i thought it might have been in this snowbank outside this girls house because i wasjumping off of her porch that day and hadn't seen it since. i told her to check around for it, and she said it wasn't there. 3 months later the snowbanks were gone and she brings it to me at school. it still worked, but 3 months without an ipod sucked ass since i thought it was there the whole time

I have gone through a few iPods myself. One time I was at my friends house and I jumped in her salt water pool but as soon as I jumped in a ripped my iPod out of my pocket and threw it in a towel. A month later I took it out of the bag of rice I put it in and plugged it into the wall and it worked but it was realy realy dim so the back light broke. Luckily I found oh that there was a little strip in the headphone jack that turns orange when wet but it was still white meaning it was dry somehow. So I sent it to apple and got a brand new one for free lol
