where do i start on ithaca...ive been there 4 years already and i still havent gradumatated, super 420 friendly dont ever have to worry about getting caught cause it doesnt fucking matter whatsoever (in the dorms im talking about) the town is awesome like a smaller burnlington. the skiing is pretty shotty but they get a decent amount of snow in the higher terrain and you really have three choices of mountains...greek peak (biggest vert shittiest park), labrador (small mountain, decent park) and toggenburg (good park small mountain) the mountains are in order of distance from ithaca and vary from 40 mins to an 1 hr 15mins away. the partying is great and the kids at IC are generally all super chill...cant really speak for the cornell side of things but theres really no reason to ever go over there, unless frats are your thing....the music scene is legit and we get some great acts between cornell's barton hall, IC's new indoor athletic facility which you will be so lucky to reak the benefits of, and the state theatre you really cant complain...bar scene gets old after 4 years but hey its a small town of 20000 which doubles when college is in session...if you have any other questions feel free to message me
 
o yea forgot to mention the weather...the weather is insane in ithaca especially on IC's campus because it is north facing and the lake runs north to south which means when the cold winds come from the north they get funnel through the lake valley and slam onto "the south hill" and theres nothing to stop it. it rains all the time in fall and spring and the winter is bitter cold and snows literally everyday but hardly ever accumlates...the nicest times of year are the beginning and end of school (go figure) and everyone is outside and partying because of the hardships of being cooped up all winter long...you also have the benfits of an unlimited amount of swimming spots and cliff jumping areas which i can point you to if you wish but you will learn them in time you just have to explore and make friends with townies which is also very key to survival in ithaca especially if you want the danks lots of great growers in town and they love that organic shit hahah...dont really know what else i can tell you...o yea urban spots are plentiful
