It fucking snowed in the bay area.

california highway reported that 80's only closed westbound at the junction with 50 from 9pm to 5am through 12/11. am i missing something?

Wait.. isnt juct. 80 and 50 in like west sac or something?

are they doing massive roadwork?

I know that they're doing bay bridge work starting on the 11th... but that's all the way in SF...

i would say 4 to 4.5 hours if you go across golden gate then the richmond bridge (or the 37). but it also depends on how early you're leaving. the earlier you leave, the less time it will take.

sorry, i realized afterwards that you asked a different question. first, go north across the golden gate bridge. afterwards, you have two options: (1) you can pay for toll and go across the 580/Richmond Bridge or (2) avoid toll and take the 37 east. both the 580 and 37 will meet up with eastbound 80. you'll take 80 east toward North Lake Tahoe/Reno all the way to Truckee. Once in Truckee, take the 267 east and Northstar will be on your right.

have fun!

how bad is the storm going to be, my parents want to drive up saturday during the storm but my bro says we should go tomorrow

if we get caught up in it will it be bad?
