Issues with Rossignol FKS

Bought a pair of Rossignol FKS bindings this past weekend and had them put on my skis, I have been on them twice now with no real crashes and no ejections from the bindings and the mechanism that springs the breaks down has already broken (I stepped out of them at the end of the day today and the breaks were just floppy). Seriously this shouldn't be an issue with a $300+ set of bindings with normal wear and tear. Anyone else have issues like this with these bindings?

only bindings i will ever ski. never had this issue early in a bindings life. I wouldn't stress though, brakes are over hyped

Just not tryin to have my ski take off without me all the way down the mountain. Love the bindings themselves, just annoys me that I dropped that much money on bindings to have a manufacturer defect on something like this.

Not sure I understand how you deduced that from an issue with bindings, but I guess whatever helps you sleep at night...

No, the spring was there, it was a little plastic piece that the spring was supposed to slide against under your heel that had just come out and disappeared somewhere. I took them in and they replaced the whole heel piece! So its all good now, hopefully it doesnt happen again
