so my friends been heading down the wrong path for awhile and its kind of all climaxed together with him getting sent away to a treatment center called island view in utah after stealing his moms car and spending a couple weeks in jail. his moms been freaking out about him for awhile and finally decided to send him to this center. his mom has talked to my parents and said that these guys come and 'kidnap' you in the middle of the night and drag you to this place to try and straighten you out and kind of try and scare you shitless back to reality. has anyone ever heard of shit like this? i guess stuff like this is kept under wraps. im really missing my bud and hoping he gets to come home soon...has anyone heard about what they do at places like this?
 
A friend of mind from middle school got into some bad trouble, but his father and sister died so he was really depressed. Anyway, last year I don't see him anymore and it turns out he went to some rehab camp in Utah. Pretty sure its the same kinda thing. One day he was here the other goneCus his mom is a nurse who couldn't stand it so maybe she set up the kid but I don't know the full details of the story.
 
They did that on drake and Josh once lol. It was amusing. I couldnt imagine that happening though. Scary as fuck
 
this happened to a snowboarder friend of mine. he basically went too rebellious and his parents had him kidnapped in the middle of the night and taken to wilderness therapy, where he survived on his own for 30 days. he said despite it being the worst experience of his life, he learned more in that month than he ever did in school
 
i have a friend who went to that place. i just spent the weekend with him, actually, and he's doing really well. except that the reason hes home is because his best friend from the program just died. but he'd really good, learned a bunch of random shit like how to crochet....so i got a cool hat haha and uh yeah. whatevah
 
oh also my brother went to a program called valley view in massachusetts. it was kinda fucked but it completely turned his life around. the kid i mentioned before was his roommate there for about a year before being sent somewhere else.
 
Once i overheard my parents talking about taking my brother to one of those. I would sleep with a gun under my pillow if i knew somebody was going to do that
 
i dont know why, but i feel like mentioning this kid i know. used to be fairly tight with him, i guess. last year he was pretty normally, just smoking blunts like everyone else, this year starts going wild.anywho, he goes to a rave this may, takes 4 tabs of acid, gets nakes, punches a cop and almost gets beaten to death by security/police. kid has a 1.3 GPA and thinks hes going to college for photography but all he does is take pictures of weed. he could really use this, after almost being beaten to death/overdosing (ecstasy) he still does the same thing. its a shame and it hurts to watch someone destroy their family and ruin their life like that.

same thing happend to my frend he go sent off for like 3 months and now hes in treatment at a diffrent school and cant have old frends. so u wont be seeing yor frend for a while...
 
I know someone who's at something like this. He went to one in CO and it didn't fix him so his parents sent him off to another one in UT. It's sad to see him doing that to himself and his family.
