Is Wu-Tang For Everyone?

I was skiing at steamboat the other day, and the workers at the bottom of a lift wrote on a white board "How much did Wu-Tang's first album cost to make?" I saw it and laughed a little at the workers just having some fun. Then I heard an older guy behind me read the board out loud " How much did Will Tag's first album cost to make?" he paused and then said "who is Will Tag?"

So, NS I ask you, we all know Wu-Tang is for the children, but is Wu-Tang for everyone?

Wu-Tang is definitely for the children. Its also likely that their message is for everyone... however its lost in the code of a generation.

For instance, my father likely partied because I used to hear him listening to the song 'Why don't we get drunk and screw' by Jimmy Buffet. At the time compared to my Nirvana or NWA tracks it seemed tame... but in hindsight I might have been wrong.

)

Wu-Tang is for everyone... everyone just might not realize it yet.

My dad listens to all this 60s and 70s indie and alternative music... He went to college in the 70s so he probably dropped acid like every day, it's hard to imagine my very conservative 60 year old dad tripping ;D
