i went up yesterday..it wasn't THAT bad... on whistler there was a small creek of puddles running through the entire park, but it just added to the scenery....but seriously, if you're going, bring a towel

Is there seriously any change of things getting better, cause fuuuuck, ive got a super expensive tripped booked for the middle of febuary, and ive gotta know when to pull the plug on that.

I dont feel like spending all that cash to ski the park there..

Are you really asking that? Does the weather not tell you anything? I was up on Saturday riding the Blackcomb park and you might as well stay in Onterrible and wait for your spring skiing to come cause it's pretty much the same.

i woudl think so, the extended forecast for 7 days says snow on friday saterdy and sunday so who knows, a lot oculd happen in 3 weeks

Just checked the alpine forecast and it says that the freezing leving is getting down to 1250 on Saturday but it's going back up.

5 Day Trend..Periods of rain or snow late on Friday and Saturday will give way to drying conditions and rising freezing levels on Sunday as a ridge of high pressure builds over the area.

Risng freezing levels don't sound too promising for normal seasonal weather. I hate to be the pesimest, but there is nothing promising being said.

wtf?? its suppose to be like 6 or 7 in Van next week, so it should be around 0 in the village. O well I still got my hopes for snow!!!(and no i wont take the chance on betting my left nut on anything)

Siiiiick! I just check the 'Live Conditions' and it's -8 at the peak of Blackcomb and -6 at the peak of Whistler and neg on the rest of the mountain and the predicted low for tonight was -3 so maybe we'll continue to get nice surprises like that. Cross your fingers and toes and legs and arms for snow (we're supposed to get 5-10 on Monday).

Today was sick on the peak. I was skiing fresh all day and dropping shit into good snow. This coming first week of february doesnt sound too good, but it sounds much better than what we've been having.

I hiked Flute yesterday. It was snowing and got some fresh turns in. Despite the weather we've been having it was pretty sick.
