Is this what it’s like to go snowblind

My sunglasses kept falling off one day last season so I decided to not wear anything for the day.

eventually on a run I was skiing as normal and then everything got a little sparkly looking. I was tripping out thinking the lighting must have just been hitting the snow weird but no.

the sparkles got bigger and it looked like there were these sparkling fairies floating around me.

I wasn’t on drugs and my eyes didn’t hurt but they did feel a little weird.

regardless it was a very beautiful thing to experience and one of the prettiest things I’ve seen.

That’s called orthostatic hypotension. Your blood pressure drops suddenly when you stand up and your brain isn’t getting enough oxygen. Basically you momentarily get stuck in a decreased level of consciousness but still have some control over your muscles but your eyes go blurry/black and you probably feel kinda weightless for a second.

Can nobody tell me what happened to me that day?

It sounds like you were skiing in a cloud/heavy fog. It’s happened to me on Mt. Hood and at Whiteface. The sparkles are light reflecting off the water droplets lol.
