Is this normal for my eyes?

Hey guys, quick question. Tried to google this but had no such luck.

While on my friends tramp, I decided to hold the GoPro facing me while I backflip. Got a couple cool shots, but I noticed something weird.. When I would backflip or rodeo/flat etc. all you would see in my eyes were white.. It's like my eyes rolled back in my head.

I started to think more about this, because I had some major problems spotting backflips before. When I would throw them, it almost felt like I was "going blind" for a second because my eyes would never be able to really see anything while I was flipping until it was to late. I feel like this might be the cause of why I had a lot of problems with spotting, and still do sometimes.

So NSers, has this happened to anyone else? Or should I go visit an eye doctor..

Thanks

That is probably the reason actually, I would try to get comfortable not looking back or straining your eyes so much, it will be difficult and sketch at first but it will help in the long run

Do you ever go on rollercoasters?

I have a similar issue when I go inverted on a rollercoaster. It is always on backflips on rides and when I get to the peak and on the way down I feel like I am blacking out. I never actually black out but my eye sight fades and I start to lose control. I get to the bottom and im fine, but it is weird.

the virus is slowly taking hold of you. keep on backflippin and one day you'll land completely infected and be forever blind and start eating the kids in your neighbourhood

That's different. Greying out on a rollercoaster is the result of pulling too many Gs and the blood getting pulled out of your head toward your feet from the centrifugal force. If you tighten your core muscles in higher G parts of a rollercoaster, it will minimalize graying out. Or wear a g-suit.

Exact same thing happens to me, no idea why but whether im flipping on the tramp or skis i "black out" in the first part of the flip. For some reason this doesn't happen when cliff jumping though. I just think it's a sort of reflex you're body has as i'm sure the body is not made to fly upside down through the air hahaha.

True also known as hooker eye. Let it go untreated and your cns will be fucked and you will more then likely die.
