Tried my skis out for the first time yesterday and had a blast but once I got back to the whip i noticed this piece hanging off. Am I good?? Or do I need to take them in to get filled.

Just cut it off with a razor blade and they’ll be good

yeah just cut off the extra bit so it doesn't catch on something and break more. but you're def fine, that kind of topsheet chipping happens. you only need to worry if it starts separating, or gets deep enough that you have a hole through to the core etc because water in your core is basically a death sentence. so if it gets bad (it probably won't) you epoxy it and sand it so it doesn't get worse

Yep older moment deathwish. It’s all good. As other said just trim it with a razor blade and call it a day. If you notice it peeling up more then you can sand it down and epoxy that hoe.

if you’re located anywhere near Reno you could take it to moment and they’ll trim it up for you. But that’s a bit overkill.
