Is this a human femur?

It's definitely way too thick for deer and it's not in an area where there's been cattle. Too thick for human? It looks to just be the bottom half.

yea it could belong to a bear or moose. might not be the femur if it is one of those however.

I saw mine almost two years ago when i broke it and it poked out of the side of my leg.

That is my guess. Moose, bear, elk if you are out west, or whatever large wild animals live in your region.

Yea I think I'm going with moose. They are in the area, just not too common. Black bear exist too but maybe a once a decade sighting where I was. This is in Ottawa.
